WHAT AGE CAN MY CHILD START DANCE, AND DO YOU OFFER BEGINNER CLASSES?

At Opal Performing Arts, we welcome children from as young as two years old. Our classes are thoughtfully designed for complete beginners through to more experienced dancers, ensuring every child feels comfortable and supported from the very beginning.
DO YOU OFFER TRIAL CLASSES AND CAN MY CHILD JOIN MID-TERM?

Yes, we offer a complimentary trial class for each style, so your child can experience different classes, meet their teacher, and feel confident before enrolling. Students are welcome to join mid-term, subject to class availability.
HOW does pricing work, AND DO YOU OFFER ANy DISCOUNTS?

Our classes are priced per term, with options to suit different class lengths and age groups. We offer discounted rates for students enrolling in multiple classes each week, as well as a sibling discount for families with more than one child dancing with us.
what should my child wear, and do we need a uniform straight away?

my child is shy - will they be okay in class?
For their complimentary trial class, your child can wear comfortable clothing they can freely move around in, along with sneakers. Once enrolled, we will guide you through the appropriate uniform and footwear for their class - there’s no pressure to purchase anything before they’re ready.
Absolutely! At Opal Performing Arts, creating a nurturing and welcoming environment is at the heart of what we do. We take the time to help each child settle in, build confidence, and form friendships, so they feel comfortable and excited coming to class each week!

At Opal Performing Arts, our focus is on building strong technique, confidence, and a positive class experience. Students have the opportunity to perform in in-house performances, allowing them to develop confidence in a supportive and familiar environment. For those seeking additional opportunities, we also offer private solo lessons for competitions, providing a more personalised pathway for further development.
